Harmony Day 2019 – Spreading our wings in the Stirling Times

On Thursday 21 March, Churchlands PS turned orange for Harmony Day! Students and staff wore or added orange as a symbol of unity to acknowledge and celebrate our vibrant and multicultural community. Our magnificent Harmony Wings were on show at the front of the school all day. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this collaborative project. Nearly 600 members of our school community were invited to decorate a feather. While one feather cannot fly, together our wings soar! It was an extremely positive collaborative project which everyone enjoyed. Hope you managed to snap a picture in front of the wings! They will continue to be on display in the library if you’d like to check them out.

Our Harmony Wings were also featured in The Stirling Times: https://www.communitynews.com.au/stirling-times/news/harmony-day-churchlands-primary-school-creates-harmony-wings/
