Parent Crash Course in using the Screentime application – Evening workshop

You are invited to our very first parent workshop which aims to teach how to use the Apple Screentime application, and app which helps manage family device usage.

The “Parents Crash Course in using the Screentime application” evening workshop will run:

When: Monday, March 9 – 6.30 pm

Where: Churchlands Primary School Library

“Screen Time — a new feature of iOS 12 — lets you know how much time you and your kids spend on apps, websites, and more. This way, you can make more informed decisions about how you use your devices, and set limits if you’d like to.” – Apple.com

Please join Holden Lai (School board member and parent) and Luke Johnson (teacher and Deputy Principal) in a ‘Crash Course in using the Screentime app’. The course will run through the basics of the app and how it can assist managing family iPad usage at home.

Please note that the Screentime app comes as part of the native suite but is only available on devices with iOS 12 and above. To use the app to its full capacity, ‘Family Sharing’ is required which will also be covered throughout the session. To get the most out of the session, it is advised to bring your family ipad(s) to setup throughout the session.
