Faction Cross Country Carnival 🏃‍♀️

Congratulations to all students who participated in our Faction Cross Country Carnival last week. It was a fantastic day filled with determination, resilience, dedication and outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see so many students challenging themselves, encouraging their peers and proudly representing their factions. 

A big congratulations to Cowan, who were crowned the 2026 Faction Cross Country Champions after a strong team performance across all year levels. 

A special mention must go to our Faction Captains, who were outstanding role models and leaders throughout the carnival. They led by example, encouraged younger students, promoted positive sportsmanship and helped create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Their enthusiasm and leadership were a wonderful reflection of the values we strive to develop at Churchlands Primary School. 

Thank you to our amazing staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and throughout the day to ensure the event ran smoothly. Your support and commitment helped make the carnival such a success. We would also like to thank the many parents and family members who came along to cheer on our students. Your encouragement created a wonderful atmosphere and was greatly appreciated by all competitors. 

A special congratulations to the students in Years 3–6 who finished in the top six of their respective races. These students have earned selection in the Churchlands Primary School Cross Country Team and will represent our school at the Interschool Cross Country Carnival on 17 June. 

We wish all team members the very best as they prepare for the event and look forward to seeing them proudly represent Churchlands Primary School.
