It’s an exciting time in the library as we count down to CBCA Book Week, coming up in Week 6! This year’s inspiring theme, Symphony of Stories, celebrates the way stories come together like music, with every book adding its own unique voice to create something truly magical.
We can’t wait to celebrate with our students through fun library activities, wonderful stories, and the opportunity to explore this year’s fantastic shortlisted books. Book Week is always a highlight of the school year, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone join in the celebrations and discover the joy of reading.Â
We also have some very special library news! On 29 July, one of our stick insect eggs hatched, and we were thrilled to welcome a tiny new baby stick insect to our library family. Students have loved watching our stick insects grow and learning about their fascinating life cycle. Be sure to stop by the library to see our newest little resident, if you can spot it!
