The Good Standing Policy, as outlined by the Western Australian Department of Education, provides a structured framework that supports students to engage positively in their schooling.
It reinforces the importance of maintaining satisfactory standards in attendance, punctuality, course participation, and behaviour. It aligns closely with the our Positive Behaviour Policy, emphasising proactive strategies that promote respectful relationships, a culture of care, and mutual respect across the school community and with our values of Respect, Resilience, Engage and Excel.
The policy is designed to help students understand and take responsibility for the choices they make, particularly where those choices may affect their own safety and learning or that of others. It reflects the Department’s and schools strong commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
