Swimming Carnival Success & Morning Fitness ChallengeÂ
On behalf of all the House Captains, we are pleased to reflect on what was a fantastic Swimming Carnival held at the Perth HPC on Wednesday, 29 April.Â
It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved, giving their best effort in every race, and most importantly, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. Whether competing in the pool or cheering from the sidelines, every student contributed to making the carnival such a success.Â
We are proud to share that Churchlands placed 5th overall. While strong results are always a goal, what stood out most was the effort, determination, and teamwork displayed by all participants.Â
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible support students showed for one another. The cheering, encouragement, and positive attitudes created an energetic and inclusive atmosphere that truly defined the spirit of the event.Â
A special mention goes to the Year 4 Boys relay team for winning their event—an outstanding achievement. Congratulations also to Alaistair Lowe for being named Runner-Up Year 4 Champion Boy.Â
We would also like to thank the Year 6 boys who stepped up as helpers on the day. Your contributions were greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.Â
Finally, thank you to all the parents and spectators who came along to support the event. Your encouragement means a great deal to everyone involved.Â

Morning Fitness UnderwayÂ
This week, students from Years 1–6 have begun morning fitness sessions. During these sessions, students are challenged to run as many laps around the course as they can. It’s a great opportunity to build endurance and track personal progress.Â
Are you up for the challenge? Can you beat your best score each week?Â
For those looking for extra practice, Morning Running Club is held on Wednesday mornings from 8:10–8:35am.Â
Happy running, everyone!Â
