On Thursday 7 November, our student leaders took part in an exciting Sustainability Incursion filled with hands-on learning, performances, and teamwork. The day began with a special visit from SECRUL, who taught our students all about micro-invertebrates and their importance in our local ecosystems. A huge thank-you to their team for sharing their expertise with us.
We were also fortunate to have Waste Sorted come out to run a whole-school waste audit. This was incredibly insightful and helped students identify practical ideas to improve how we manage waste at school. Their guidance has inspired our leaders to think critically about sustainability and positive change.
Throughout the day, students participated in eco-planting and weeding to care for our school grounds, enjoyed a range of team-building games, and showcased their talents through engaging performances. A major highlight was the laser tag session on the oval, followed by a fun flashlight activity to finish off the afternoon.
