WA Premier’s Reading ChallengeÂ
We are excited to share that the WA Premier’s Reading Challenge will commence week 8 on 23rd March and concludes 12th June. This is a parent led challenge that is completed at home and is a fantastic opportunity for students to challenge themselves, discover new authors, and develop a lifelong love of reading.Â
To complete the challenge, Kindergarten to Year 6 students need to read 12 or more books.Â
The challenge is not just about finishing books – it is about encouraging a love of reading. Plus, weekly prize draws add an exciting twist! Readers who complete the challenge will receive a special certificate of completion signed by the Premier. Â
Your child could be one of our lucky prize winners! Simply log their reading each week to go into a random draw for the chance to win. Explore the Premier’s Reading Challenge prizes.Â
To help your reader get started, create a parent account and add your child’s profile. This will allow you to actively support and encourage them on their reading journey, making it easier to track progress and celebrate their achievements together.Â

Applications for Library Officer positions have been sent out this week to students in Years 5 and 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for students who are responsible, organised, and passionate about books and helping others The role helps students develop a strong sense of purpose and ownership within the library, while building valuable leadership and organisational skills.Â
