On Tuesday, May 20, Churchlands Primary School will be switching over to the Compass School Management app for attendance reporting.
Compass is a proven, modern-day solution in which is used by over 2000 schools Australia wide. The WA Department of Education are investing in this system to more effectively engage with school communities by streamlining communication options and offering a more time-effective and intuitive experience for parents and guardians.
This first step in adopting the Compass system is an important one, as it will be used for managing student absences. Please ensure you read the information attached, download the app, and be ready to login with your unique user details from next Tuesday. Please note that these user details will be communicated on Tuesday morning, when the systemt goes ‘live’ for CPS.
While this may appear to be yet ‘another’ application added on top of the existing communication avenues (Aurdiri and SeeSaw etc), over the course of year the Compass functionality will expand to replace some of these other tools, in the end providing a one-stop-shop for most school admin processes.
