The CPS Cross Country was a resounding success, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather to set the scene! The sunshine, cheering, and school spirit were the perfect backdrop to an event that truly showcased what makes CPS special.
It was fantastic to see our students living our values of Resilience, Respect, Engage, and Excel—whether they were running their hearts out, cheering on their peers, or simply giving their best. Events like these do more than promote physical health—they build community, teamwork, and pride in our school.
A huge thank you to Mr. Howesmith for creating a lively atmosphere with his music setup, our sports captains and Year 6 students for stepping up and supporting the event, and the STEAM Team for beautifully capturing the highlights of the day.
To our incredible staff—thank you for your coordination, energy, and dedication behind the scenes. And to our wider CPS community, your continued encouragement and involvement make all the difference.

Interschool Cross Country:
The interschool cross country is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 June and is for our year 3 – 6 students ONLY. The team is made up of students who finished in places 1-6 in their race at the Churchlands PS cross country. All notes have gone home to those students, if you believe your child should have received a note but they have not, can you please contact Mr Marshall at Michael.marshall@education.wa.edu.au All the other relevant information for this event will be sent out via Audiri.
