This week, we would like to take a moment to recognise and celebrate our wonderful Education Assistants and the incredible contribution they make across our school.
Our Education Assistants play such an important role in supporting our students each and every day. They work alongside teachers to help students access their learning, develop their independence, navigate challenges and feel safe, supported and included at school. Their patience, encouragement and genuine care make a meaningful difference to the lives of so many of our students.
Their contribution, however, extends well beyond the classroom. Our Education Assistants are valued members of our staff team who work collaboratively with teachers, Student Services and school leadership to support the diverse needs of our students. They are always willing to lend a hand, share their knowledge, step in when needed and do whatever they can to help our students and staff have a successful day.
We know that the work of an Education Assistant can sometimes happen quietly behind the scenes, but the impact of what they do is significant. From celebrating small achievements and providing encouragement, to helping students regulate their emotions, develop new skills or simply feel that they belong, their commitment and dedication are evident throughout our school.
As a school community, we are incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, dedication and professionalism our Education Assistants show every day. We appreciate the way they advocate for our students, support our teachers and contribute to making Churchlands Primary School a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.
To our amazing Education Assistants, thank you. Thank you for the difference you make, for the relationships you build, for the patience you show and for the many ways you go above and beyond for our students and our staff.
