Interschool Tennis – Year 3 & 4

I am happy to announce that Tennis WA has invited Churchlands Primary School to participate in an interschool tennis event for year 3 & 4 students.  This event is going to be run by Tennis WA, and it will be held on Friday, 31 October (week 3) at the Wembley Downs Tennis Club. The event is based on participating and having fun within a tennis context.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form below.  As there are only 32 spots available, to make it fair for all those interested, all players will be selected randomly, using a random name selector.  There will be an even spread of year 3 & 4 students, and boys and girls.

Running Club

Running club is on Wednesday mornings starting at 8.10 am to 8.40 am.  For new families to Churchlands PS, Running Club is where students run laps around the school earning points for their faction. Exercising in the mornings has many health benefits and is a great way to start the day.

Some benefits include:

  • improved physical and mental energy,
  • a better night’s sleep,
  • reach your fitness goals,
  • increased focus and concentration.

A reminder that mugs for Milo need to be placed on the table outside the undercover area before 8.25 am.  Milo is an acknowledgement of the effort put in during running club.

It is encouraged that students need to run at least 5 laps to get a Milo. Turning up late won’t allow enough time to get 5 laps done.

Can you please click on the link and fill in the attached form so Mr Marshall can organise your QR code card before your first Running Club. Kids of all ages are welcome to join in the fun, that is running club.  Remember to bring your QR code to every running club.
