School Hours

Churchlands Primary School hours are : 8.45 – 3.00.

We actively encourage all students to arrive at school no later than 10 minutes prior to school starting.  If students arrive early they are to go to the undercover area to be supervised.  

Attendance

At CPS we are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment which promotes engagement and participation of all our students. It is important that students from Pre Primary to Year 6 have regular attendance enabling them to participate at school to achieve social/emotional and academic learning outcomes. It is also important that students arrive on time at the beginning of the day as this is the time that sets the scene and prepares the students for the day ahead. Classes are open at 8:35am, students arriving at this time allows them to be prepared and set up, ready for class to start at 8:45 am.
