Our very first Lego competition had over 25 entries this year, showcasing creativity in both categories – Lego Movies & Lego Tools. The Lego movies were fantastically entertaining, and it was obvious that some moviemaking skill was applied in everyone’s creations. There were also some ingenious tools created, which highlighted our students’ ability to see ‘real world’ problems and apply a process when designing solutions. Although very hard to pick some winners, the panel of Miss Barnett, Miss Coghill and myself were blown away by the quality of the work presented, and we are already looking forward to what students will offer next year. Congratulations to all students who showed the initiative to enter, especially to our lucky winners in each category.
