It’s Lego Masters time and we are starting our own Churchlands Primary School Lego Masters challenge.
Each week you can take part at home by constructing your design, based on the brief below. When you have finished, take a photo (or two so you show your design from different angles) and email it to me at jane.sexton@education.wa.edu.au.
We will judge your designs and announce a winner each Thursday and they will receive a certificate. They will also get to participate in the semi-finals in week 9 of this term. We will have a category for junior primary (K to Yr 2) and primary (Yr 3 to Yr 6).
Entries are due in by 9 am each Wednesday. A new challenge for the next week will be announced each Wednesday afternoon.
In week 9, all the weekly winners in each category (junior primary or primary) will compete in the semi-final challenge. From this challenge, 3 children/teams will compete in the grand final where the Lego Masters for Term 2 will be selected.
We are judging you on creativity and ascetics (how good it looks). So get creative, have fun and don’t forget to send the photo of your creation in.
See below for our weekly entries, winners, and the next week’s challenge!
Happy building!
